What's your favourite musical and songs from musicals?
WICKED.
First proper musical I've seen and it was amazing. I never thought I'd like musicals but I thought Wicked was absolutely fantastic and I'd love to see it again. I thought the music they had was fabulous so I got the soundtrack when I was at London too. :)
Rent, Spring Awakening, Wicked, Billy Elliot. Those four :D
i love pretty much any musicals. Les Miserables being one of my favourites, can never get bored of it. I love the songs from wicked but have never seen it... i am determined to see it!! LION KING IN LONDON IS AMAZING. Ummm Hairspray used to be my favourite, grease. I could go on forever... I am a musical freak ha
I like Rocky Horror Picture Show, that's an awesome musical, probably Grease as well. Other than that, I'm not a big fan of them.
Went and saw Mama Mia last year in London it was epic. Haven't really seen many musicals though.
i've only ever seen wicked, so i guess that, it was soo good
Hairspray and Sweeney Todd are the bomb.
Love the music from both :)
I've only seen Chitty Chitty Bang Bang in the theatre when I was little and still in England, really would love to see some more but heyho I live here :/
Oliver twist and the sog about the roses. Charlie and the chocolate factory but like too.many songs in there to.name
I've seen quite a few in the last year actually - myself and my parents are big theatre fantatics and love musicals. Over the past few years we've seen loads including The Lion King down at the Lyceum in London (twice), Acorn Antiques, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, James and the Giant Peach, Mamma Mia (in Las Vegas), Beauty and the Beast (in New York), Grease, To Kill a Mockingbird, and also Blood Brothers. We've also seen two Cirque du Soleil shows - O in Las Vegas and La Nouba in Florida. I'd probably have to say that Blood Brothers is my favourite musical of all time. The ending is just tragic and it's honestly so difficult to hold back the tears - even the actors genuinely cry on stage, it's horrible. Yet fantastic.
Within the last year, I've seen five different musicals: Wicked, We Will Rock you, Dirty Dancing, Shrek The Musical and Sister Act.
Rocky Horror and Phantom of the Opera probably my favourites, Les Mis was an amazing experience when I went but I honestly can't remember enough of it to call it a favourite
Oh my god, how could I forget Grease? That's like amazing!
I'd love to see more; maybe Phantom of the Opera (lol), the lion king, we will rock you, mamma mia, billy elliot and oliver twist!
@Mathew; my friend went and saw that, she said it wasn't good. Would you recommend it? :P
We Will Rock You Is by far the best!!
I have a huge obsession with Queen, so I was singing really loudly the whole way through xD
Would've been even better if Brian May appeared at the end, like he did in other shows, but unfortunately he was at dancing on ice to see his wifes performance, I think..
PET PEEVE OF A LIFETIME WHEN PEOPLE SAY THEY LOVE THE THEATRE BUT ONLY SEE MUSICALS.
anyway, cabaret is amazing.
I really wanna see Matilda: The Musical which is new out!
I like Grease, lion king, mamma mia and 1965's the sound of music. Julie Andrews was wonderful back then and still gorgeous now!
Lion King! I love Pumbaa! Was it live from a theater or other way?
Did they sing Abba's songs? Really cooool
i've never seen any musicals but it's on my 2012 bucketlist and we're planning to go see phantom of the opera in the winter :)
i don't have a favourite but i love RENT, a chorus line, WICKED, and phantom of the opera.

It has to be WICKED! It's amazing, best musical I have ever seen.
