As most of you probably already know, the Grand National is tomorrow.
Are you backing any horses, if so, which ones?
I've backed Ballabriggs and Black Apalachi

£10 on Shakalakaboomboom @ 16/1, mainly cus I liked the name.
£10 on West End Rocker @ 14/1.
I've picked 3 out who i am going for
Shakalakaboomboom
Seabass
Mon Mone
Not sure how much i'm going to put on them yet, but here's hoping that one of them win! :P
I don't gamble and I don't agree with the Grand National, so no.
Grandads putting bets on West end Rocker & Chicago Grey, for me.
I'll be going out tomorrow to stick mines on, not sure how many or how much though. Only had a glance at the names so will need to check thoroughly tomorrow.
My dads bought a few for me dno who though :)
I don't want a bet but my four would of been. Synchronised, Ballabriggs, Mon Mome & State Of Play.
Ive put a fiver to win on cappa bleu 14/1 odds :D £70 in my back pocket ;D
going for ;
Synchronised @ 10/1
Becauseicouldntsee @ 20/1
My mum went for Alwaysright, dont know the odds
I just put my bets on! Backing Seabass, Synchronised and Ballabriggs :) Hopefully i'll be rich later!
I bets are on =] sea bass, synchronised and junior
why didn't we do the forum thing where we bet :(
Someone on my facebook just said they've put £50 on one horse wow. I only bet like £1 each way
I've put £1 on each way for organisedconfusion - I'm like that and WeirdAl - seeing as it's my name. ;)
I put £2.50 on Weird al and Sychonised
Winner was Neptune Collonges, at 25/1.
I put a pound on a few, my mum put some on Sunnyhillboy and was so close aha.
got 34/1 on neptune colonges, won back £100 or something along those lines woo :)
According to pete and synchronised both put down :( Its the only bad thing about these races.
15/40 horses finished
and two horses had to be put down
One of them being syncronised who was the favorite until his jockey fell off, so he slipped down to third
The other being according to pete
:( @Kasabian; jinxed Synchronised the noob he said it would get shot because i backed it
Well done @Kasabian; he should so get an infraction now
Step dad won 1st & 2nd in work sweepstake, winning about £50
Yeah synchronised jump the fence perfectly then landed on its head
not sure what happened to according to pete
Can't believe two horses have been put down, it's so sad but yeah anyways my horse shakalakaboomboom didn't win :( Was a really good race though!
Apparently a third one is dead too
surprised there hasn't been loads of people on here saying the Grand National is cruel!
i bet on shakalalaboomboom, gutted he didn't win.
it's sad that horses have to be killed if they break a bone but they love racing so at least they're doing something that they love
Syncronised was spooked before the race even started, was apparent when he flipped McCoy off.
I still think the fences are too high/long in the National, one fence is 11foot.
Everyone on my facebook is moaning its cruel, but people only moan when its the grand national. My horses went down in the first five minutes:(
