Grand National

As most of you probably already know, the Grand National is tomorrow.

Are you backing any horses, if so, which ones?
I've backed Ballabriggs and Black Apalachi

Not sure how much i'm going to put on them yet, but here's hoping that one of them win! :P

I don't gamble and I don't agree with the Grand National, so no.

Grandads putting bets on West end Rocker & Chicago Grey, for me.

I'll be going out tomorrow to stick mines on, not sure how many or how much though. Only had a glance at the names so will need to check thoroughly tomorrow.

Neptune Colonges was as high as 33/1.

got 34/1 on neptune colonges, won back £100 or something along those lines woo :)

According to pete and synchronised both put down :( Its the only bad thing about these races.

I put £6 each way on that lad too :(, was gutted when he lost! But still got some monies :)

15/40 horses finished
and two horses had to be put down

One of them being syncronised who was the favorite until his jockey fell off, so he slipped down to third
The other being according to pete

Yeah synchronised jump the fence perfectly then landed on its head

Can't believe two horses have been put down, it's so sad but yeah anyways my horse shakalakaboomboom didn't win :( Was a really good race though!

Apparently a third one is dead too

i bet on shakalalaboomboom, gutted he didn't win.
it's sad that horses have to be killed if they break a bone but they love racing so at least they're doing something that they love

Syncronised was spooked before the race even started, was apparent when he flipped McCoy off.

I still think the fences are too high/long in the National, one fence is 11foot.

the highest was 5ft 2.
i don't think he was spooked, just overly excited

Everyone on my facebook is moaning its cruel, but people only moan when its the grand national. My horses went down in the first five minutes:(
