my first car was a crappy white citroen ax, no power steering, no electric windows omg LOL it was like a bone shaker although it seems so long ago now. Have a ford fiesta style climate silver 2005 thingee now
No power steering and no electric windows is the way to go  I like having my strong arm steering, it doesnt really feel much different if you have a light car or truck like mine, im actually thinking about taking the power streering off on mine and the AC because there is fewer belts the engine has to pull which could mean slighty better gas mileage, and i dont need them anyways
97 renault clio rt

My first car is (only got it in March) a 2000 VW Polo 1.0 Mark III facelift. I'm unable to compare it to anything really, given I've been learning to drive in it. It's more comfortable than any French car I've ever sat in, although my suspension is quite choppy because its lowered. :P
I remember posting in a diff thread saying I wanted a VW Golf but now I want The John Cooper Convertible in Red with Black stripes...
