That's a really cool alt, the only suggestion that I would make is perhaps to make the top section look like it's partially filled. Still very good, +rep :)

Should it not be red and blue not red and purple? Anyway the white line is far too thick on the logo and far too stiff, it should be more curvy.
EDIT: Just noticed the one in your avatar is smoother, still needs to be a bit thinner though in my opinion.
