I checked the marketplace to see if its from there but it wasn't.

That is really lucky! I remember one time back in the day I signed and had a random 50c in my account. Turns out it was from some Valentines day thing where 1/50 people got a free 50c.
i very much doubt you received 41c for doing nothing, it'll either be from the surveys or something you forgot about.
maybe if you spent them your account will be -41 credits. I know its happened before!
