Any Moyles fans? Any Grimshaw fans? I've never listened to Nick Grimshaw but I found Chris Moyles highly amusing. He's done wonders for the Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 1 so its a shame to see him leave. Moyles manages to get around 7.10 million listeners, which is quite a substantial amount considering there's only 63 million of us in the country. I know Cooper is trying to appeal to a younger audience, but I'd tune into Moyles over another DJ any day.

Thoughts? :)

The problem with radio 1 is its trying to appeal to a younger audience but I feel it's not actually trying to find out what a younger audience wants. It's basically a group of adults, probably business suit guys, deciding what the young people want to listen to and what they don't.

no no no! Nick Grimshaw is fine for the early hours of the morning when the students are coming home from clubbing or what have you but not an early morning breakfast show. moyles has always been a personal favourite and I doubt (if I ever get up before 6.30...) I'll be tuning in any more. cries

Personally, I don't like Nick Grimshaw and I like Chris Moyles.

I don't tend to listen to the radio much anymore but I know Chris was great for the breakfast show. I heard that he may be doing a new show though so its not all bad!

whenever I listened to radio it was always chris moyles and he's a legend

never listened to nick but he can't be anywhere near as good as chris :P

I used to love listening to Moyles driving to college in a morning :(
Not a fan of Grimshaw, sad he's moving slots,
He's been under a lot of pressure lately, a lot of speculation over leaving, so, I guess he finally has :(!

dont listen to the radio much so i don't really care. was never a fan of chris. :P

I hate him too. I don't particularly like professional "djs" really. They always seem so full of themselves ;/

Never liked Chris Moyles anyway, he bores me so much. I haven't really heard Nick but I'm sure it's going to be better than Chris' shows.

Chris Moyles was so bad, I personally don't like him. Nick Grimshaw is great during his 10-12 times and on Sundays with Annie Mac, he plays actual decent music but when its Breakfast show won't be as good stuff

i tuned in to his show all the time even though we dont have bbc radio 1 here, hes an amazing dj, nick grimshaw is ****

at least its not scott mills cause he's amazing too

lol shame :( also miss scott mills on 4-7 cos thats when im at work n it helped get me thru lmao
