Hi there guys. Basically, I need a new computer. I want it to be really quick and to have really good graphics. I was really **** last time and spend £1000 on a new touch screen PC which had an internal graphics. I want to spend between £600 - £700 on a PC that has really good graphics - able to play Sims 3 and FSX. That's all I really need it for.
@xxMATTGxx; do you know of any seeing as you play FSX?
Build your own, base it on an ATI 7 series graphics card and an Intel Ivybridge i5 CPU.
If you can't build your own, get a Dell XPS computer from www.dell.co.uk

£650 for i3 and 545 seems a bit much imho.
Especially as it has no SSD, 4gb ram...

Omg I'm actually starting to cry here. Doesn't anyone know of any good PCs which are good enough for Sims and FSX which is online and already made. :(
depends really, as places like OcUK and Dell tend to make them as they're ordered, so technically would not be 'already made' :O
look at ocuk, basically everyone of them is capable if you put a decent graphics card in.
Okay well you know what I mean Mr. Scottish. What are decent graphic cards and I only really want to order from PC World / John Lewis / HP / Dell etc.
Why? PC World is terrible compared to OcUK.

You say you want a PC to be able to run Flight Simulator X and whatever else you want to run yeah? It would be better if you got a custom built PC that you built yourself. People on this forum can easily get all of the components from various of sites and then you just buy the thing. Omg I can't build my own and I only want to buy from official stores because then if they go wrong, I can send them back. Please someone just find a PC ready to buy with good graphics to be able to play FSX and Sims.

change the graphics card to 1gb amd radeon hd6850
you get 3year warranty
You can send it back to any store, and all parts are covered by guarantees from both the store (i.e. ocuk) and manufacturer..
So that's no excuse for not making your own

68xx 69xx 78xx 79xx are the ATIs higher end cards.
Remember on these pre-build PC's upgrading the graphics card will void the warranty. Most of them have a warranty sticker on the side panel which you have to break in order to open them up.

The GT 545 is a low power card.
Memory is OK.

Does your PC reside in the same room as your wireless router? If not you will need one of our excellent wireless PCI cards to connect to the internet!
Do I need this? Surely it will have WiFi incorporated into it?
