Email Addresses

Ok, lets talk email addresses! For a professional email address, are you most likely to use;

f.last@
first.last@
firstlast@

first.last@ probably

first.last@.... :P

first.last@

but i would also use

first_last@

I think I'd go for
[email protected]er

I just think a.oneil would work better than alex.oneil for my name.

mines firstlast but as long as there isn't random x's in your email address I'm sure any of those combinations would go.

For all my email address for companies i have worked for the email address is always f.last@ or flast@, first intial then last name. But any of these are okay.

I ended up taking all of them, not sure which one to actually use yet, f.last seems nice and short but most people seem to use first.last

A lot of large companies go for the first.last@ option. Definitely looks the most professional in my opinion :)

Most organisations don't care as it's your personal e-mail, as long as it's not rude it's fine :P What they use for their employees work e-mails is entirely up to them. You can use [email protected] (f = first name initial), name.name, namename, name.s etc etc.

I have 2 surnames, so I use FirsSecTh@...

F.last see it most formal places but then again my dads business is firstlast@
