How do you pronounce it? I say ee-ther!
eye there
EEEEE THUR
if i'm talking in scottish slang i pronounce it like ee-ther because it tends to flow better, also because it sounds chavvy so fits in better :( this is the way i talk to family or friends really
but i prefer to pronounce it eye-there as it doesn't sound as uneducated lol..
THERE'S NO BOTH OPTION.
If it's normal talking I'll go ee-ther if I'm saying it in my head when editing a News Report I'll use eye-ther (A).
i-ver
actually come to think of it, im sure i've pronounced it as EE VER sometimes :$
ee-ther
I pronounce it both ways but mainly eye-there I think :)
I switch between the two. But when i saw this thread I said "ee-ther".
I say it as ee-ther
Like warren, i switch between the two.
Both, but mainly ee-ther.
eye there !!!!
Ee-there
depends.
eeether is refering to people imo
eyether is refering to objects imo
I use both, just depends on the situation.
i say eye ther
i alternate
eye-ver
I say both but normally ee-ther unless it's in the phrase 'either or' then I always say eye-ther
EITHER IS FINE
I say both, but i think I say eye ther more though
I ther
I tend to say both, it's not one of those words I'm bothered about.
i think i say ee-ther
Both it depends on the sentence really. But probably ee-ther more often that's what I read the thread title as.
ee-ther but I have said eye-ther sometimes.
Depends on context i'm using it in I suppose.
I say both, i dunno why though haha
I think I mainly say eye-ther
I kinda say both, but I more frequently say ee-ther. I'm quite partial to saying a bit of eye-ther every now and again though! :P
Hmm, I seem to use both depending on what I'm talking about. I use ai-thur in formal conversation when talking about something serious and ee-thur in informal conversation when giving advice to a friend or family member.
Apparently: Either (ai-thur) is British while either (ee-thur) is American.
i say both but probably eether more often
always eye-ther
ee-ther sounds stupid
I say both but eether more
