No, pooing in public is frowned upon, I'd recommend that you'd use a toilet.

& no, i've never gone because i've never needed to. but i probably wouldn't go if i need because of personal preferences.

I personally don't even like using Public toilets - they usually stink and/or are pretty rank looking. It's acceptable, and I suppose - if you need to go, then you need to go - and so it isn't that big a deal. But no, I wouldnt do it...I prefer..clean toilets. xD
If you mean outside...god..I dont know how I would cope if many people actually did that..I'd probably have a nervous breakdown. :L I'm sure some people do it..but yeah..I dont like it. xD Pretty sure you could get a fine or arrested or something for it too. :P
love how everyone checks you mean in a toilet as if they wouldnt be surprised if you dropped yer trousers and had a dump in the street... ;)
I try to hold it in til I get home. not always very healthy so its purely as a last resort that i'd use a public toilet.

In regard to doing it on the street: Think this would fall under the urinating/defecating in a public place law. Probably indecent exposure, human waste can be toxic and you can be fined/sued for the costs to clean it etc.
Most people have the capability to hold it in longer than they think unless you have an obvious bowel control problem, so there isn't any excuse otherwise. There are toilets everywhere nowadays anyway, pubs, restaurants, bars, shops, stations etc.
Public Toilets: Very unhygienic and I've never used one for that matter, plus most charge to use them?! A restaurant or pubs toilets are much more better and them I have used. Although saying that, public toilets in shopping centres are usually of high standard and acceptable.

poop in public toilets : yeah i do it all the time when i cant hold it, toilets in my country are ok, unlike china their toilets are shockingly unhygienic, i've seen some that dont even have doors

Though honestly I'm too embarrassed to go to the toilet full stop in public places. And I do mean in the toilets. I don't think they guy was asking about in actual public... at least I hope not oO
I used to avoid using public toilets but now I really don't care as everyone has to do it and after having to use festival toilets that I had to poo on top of a mountain of **** with a bloody tampon on top then public toilets seem quite cushty

As a rule, I don't do it. My school toilets are open-plan; they are in the corridor with no wall separating the toilets from the hallway and classrooms - we have open-plan classrooms too, so you will be heard no matter what. It's built this way to stop people bunking and smoking in the toilets.
When I walk past a locked door, I say out loud, "someone's taking a **** in there", just to embarrass whoever it may be. Also, I hate it when I walk into a toilet to be greeted by faeces.
All this being said, there was a time I had to use the toilets last year. After an exam just after school hours, I was bursting to go. I went to the toilet and did my business... a cleaner walked in and I just panicked and tried to stay silent, making sure she didn't find out who I was. Well, that was the least of my problems. After finishing, I realised there was no toilet paper in my cubicle.
I had to waddle to the cubicle next to mine.
In an open-plan toilet.
I've never done it in public restrooms, and don't think i ever would, but I guess it's fine for other people to do it, as that's what toilets are there for. :P the thing i have a problem with is when people are disgusting and don't flush omfg absolute ******s what are you doing
public toilets are too gross to use anyway.
i have never used the toilet away from home unless i have to eg staying somewhere overnight.
when I do, i hate it and stick layers of toilet roll over the seat, even if im at a friends house

In college if I really have to, the toilets next to our classes on the second floor are really clean. If you go to the first floor and ground floor there always mank and dirty.
