Overlapping unless its just me.
I see the question of the week widget was removed :'( not sure if I like the forum one really, especially when you hover over it since it looks ugly! (like me irl)

Overlapping for me too. Just looks messy
Wonder if they will fix v6 bugs... It could just be a halloween theme bug tbh, not a v6 bug.
whats this new comment business, when were profiles activated
Oh Ive had that for years haha, well ages anyway :P Back from when I was an admin or something on the site and there were profiles where you could create your own profile and people could leave comments etc. It seems an admin has wrote on mine, but im not an admin so cant view it or delete it etc so am stuck with that notice xD
I told Matt last night, me thinking I could customise it, I was sad when I couldn't. It's going to be like that until they think of a way to fix it!
Matt asked me to get rid of the poll widget, I put the forum widget there instead because it was around the right size and it was working. Checked this morning and it was broken but I didn't have time to fix it. Sorry. I'm fairly busy until tuesday so unless someone else is able to fix it you'll have to wait till then.
QUESTION OF THE WEEK WIDGET FTW :'(
We decided against it because no new users would be able to enter it due to the registration problems.

That message only started to show when Zuth messed around with V6 while doing work for the Rare Values Department. He shouldn't have touched it!
I don't think anyone was able to fix it (unless its just screwing up for me), and its wednesday nowww so if you could that would be great since it looks quite bad xD
ah fair enough xD thought it was nice for current members too though when it was running xD even with a smaller prize perhaps. I hope there is something like it on V7 where people can interact with the site more and have chances to win. When Jin asked for it to be introduced I thought it was a wonderful idea and it did attract a lot of entries and make the site have a better community feeling. Hopefully it can return when things are sorted with logging in, or V7 is released xD
Change:
.forumpostwidth {
white-space: nowrap;
width: 195px !important;
overflow-x: hidden;
text-overflow: ellipsis;
}
To:
.forumpostwidth {
white-space: nowrap;
width: 175px !important;
overflow-x: hidden;
text-overflow: ellipsis;
}
This still appears to be broke for me, been like it for weeks and weeks now?
I know its only a little thing, but it does ruin the whole impression of the site for me, so will probably do the same for guests and potential new members too.

I would even prefer it to be put back to how it was before (with the poll/question of the week), and the forum widget on the side, rather than its current state :P but you did say you were fixing it a few weeks back? (unless its just me)

The "null" thing also happens for me sometimes when hovering over it, and sometimes MASSIVE boxes come up when you hover over the titles. The null thing looks like an error though. I think you either need to fix it, remove it or revert it back to the side and bring back the sexy poll/question of the week widget :'(
HEY THERE ITS ME AGAIN :D
Its broken again but this time the other way :P (it overlaps the bottom of the box irl)

Wow it's been months since I looked at the source code for v6. Very messy to begin with but whoever put the forum posts widget in the homepage competition file sure hid it well, it took me awhile to find it there. I've added some style rules to the css file and removed the inline style attributes (PLEASE NEVER USE INLINE STYLE ATTRIBUTES EVER, anywhere I did so creating v6 was a mistake and further doing this is a mistake).
So yeah, tell me if it looks alright in Firefox now.
edit: I've also taken the liberty of fixing the "latest rare values" updates widget wherein it wasn't displaying images because whoever was uploading them had spaces in the names for the files.
