Yay, we have another smart ass who thinks they're some big huge star because they've had a go on the decks and think they're much better than everybody else!
Here are a few definitions of DJ/Disc Jockey:
Quote:
"A disc jockey, also known as DJ, is a person who plays recorded music for an audience. There are several types of disc jockeys. Radio DJs or radio personalities introduce and play music that is broadcast on AM, FM, shortwave, digital, or internet radio stations. Club DJs select and play music in bars, nightclubs, or discothèques, or at parties or raves, or even in stadiums."
- Wikipedia
Quote:
"a person who conducts a radio broadcast consisting of recorded music, informal talk, commercial announcements, etc."
- Reference.com
Quote:
"A person who introduces and plays recorded popular music, esp. on radio or at a disco."
So we've figured you know so much about DJing, you don't even know what type of DJs exist out there? A DJ can be someone who is on the radio, playing recorded tracks, to an audience. Not just someone in a club on decks as you think.Quote:
"A DJ, or Disc Jockey, is a person who plays musical recordings. DJs often work for radio stations or bars"
- WiseGeek
And if you think the songs are 'gay' then why on earth are you going into DJing? That is one career you're expected to take requests in from your audience.
Just remember, you were once out there as a child playing your "gay" songs on SAM Broadcaster, entertaining a bunch of teenagers behind pixel characters so don't be one to criticise what other people do with their time and trying to be a total smart ass.
Also, why Technics and not CDJs which are more modern with a lot of people transferring over to? And if Technics are so great then why did you spell them incorrectly? HMM.
Lol that kid still needs help though
Here's a video tut, it taught me : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8R1WuWzYEYE&feature=plcp
