A question that I always though of was do the rich people on habbo actually buy a lot of their credits or make it through some other way? As you know some people on there are worth quite a lot, so do people actually spend that much?
Also is it still worth buying credits or no? My account isn't too nooby, he has stuff but not enough so what do people think?
most people would probably buy from sites like *********** or playerauctions. they most likely gamble for profit.
from other users that have obtained them illegally - yes. from habbo - no.
1) 1/4 - Illiegal Sites
2) 1/4 - Gamble
3) 1/4 - Actually do buy credits
4) 1/4 - Scam

Some may do, but I imagine the majority probably don't and either gain them via gambling, merching or "naughty"(?) methods.
If you want to buy them, go for it. I've never seen any reason not to - your money, your choice.
I always wondered this. People like Rabbit and Pimple who seem to make whole quest rooms overnight. They probably either own a credit card or found a site but i would never risk going on a site they are all scams!
I could say they got a paying habbo job..I don't know they might buy like loads of those 490 creds for £50 and then be able to buy alot.
They Proberly either buy them off websites illiegally or they wait for promotions on credits 490 credits for £50 is pointless... when the diamonds where about you could get 490x2 for £50Quote:

As its been already said, some users buy from illegal sites which is the easy option.
Others profit by buying and selling furniture, then you've those who gamble. It'd be interesting to know a percentage of users that actually buy credits the genuine way.
Don't really know if this is classed as rich, but back in the day I was worth like 2000c. I did it all through buying it from habbo.
But yeah, I agree with most of the above really
buying/selling for profit and gambling.
cheaper to buy from other players, much cheaper.
Allot, of people say I am rich. I started out as a small group, only worth few 100 coins. I made allot of money from this group, my group now is worth around 17,000 coins, maybe more. But I have only spent $60 on Habbo.Quote:

While you all seem to be saying that all rich people are apparently "evil" and either scam or use illegal sites, you all seem to have forgotten that some people actually work their way up for more money by merching all day every day and being really good at it.

When I started I won a Dino off Ludus and started trading more but then I got hacked on Christmas Day 2009. I started again as I had furni left and in April 2011 I managed to reach 600c, I then dealt in Pigperson's and got to 3100c and ive fluctuated since then. Yes you can earn it, a lot of them do but merching is a great way to boost your richness too.

This. A lot of people are assuming that all really rich people are the same and got their credits the same way, but that's not necessarily true. For me personally, I've never classed myself as rich because there's always people with ridiculous amounts of creds/furni, but I bought credits and then with those credits I just kept buying/selling and slowly made more and more profit.Quote:

On habbo ive always bought creds. For a start I don't understand how the gambling stuff works... and im too lazy to sell and buy for profit. Ive been hacked like 3 times though so its been a waste of money, but I used to spend so much on habbo! In the last year though ive been going to cred shops (I used to just buy from catalogue) and I find it much cheaper but its time consuming and as ive said im lazy, so sometimes I cant be bothered. I did have one rich friend but I never asked how they got rich, I presumed they bought creds? Not sure though. But if some of the really rich habbos do buy creds legitimately then they must be loaded irl!
Some of them i'm sure have boughten credits before, but a lot of the users have there own casinos and such, and shop and there own little ways of letting there furni pile up. There are a whole bunch of tricks, in my opinion I don't really think it is worth it to purchase credits, but it's up to you :)
Could probably class me as a supplier then, because when I win bets, I sell the junk rares cheap :P?

OT: well i think mostly they get it from the black markeyt (majority of casino/arcade keepers) rest are just profit makers
Most rich people get wealth from betting obviously, I got a decent amount from just trading myself but I did buy credits along the way.
