There's gonna be Skins Pure, Skins Fire and Skins Rise.
I think each of them will be around 2 hours long. Skins Pure focusing on Cassie (gen 1), Skins Fire focusing on Effy (gen 2) with appearances from Naomi (her flat mate, gen 2) and Emily (Naomi's girlfriend, gen 2) and Skins Rise focusing on Cook. None of them will link with one another and apparently Skins have tried to take the movie approach of it.
It'll be aired in July 2013 I think. I can't wait for Pure and Fire.

Yeah and apparently they'll be a little bit about the situation with him and John Foster so we know what happened, in Skins Rise. I would have assumed that he just beat the **** out of John and reported it but Cook would have had to have gone to prison as he was on the run. Man I wish they could have kept generation 2 for a bit longer because I think it would have been interesting seeing the reactions to Freddie's death.

eeek, i am looking forward to this so much, although was never a big fan of effy. i think this will be a fab sort of send off for them all, great to see them all sorta grown up now. i can't imagine it being anything like the normal series!!

I hope this does Skins some justice considering the last couple of series of Skins were awful. Series 1 and 2 were definitely the best so hopefully by bringing the old characters back and focusing on them will be good.

i think this season is going to be so overrated, i honestly don't see the fuss with either effy or cassie!! and taking how last season panned out it could be ****, i wish they were including mini in this though she was so cool and i want to know about her baby!! she's the only good one in gen 3, along with alex

omg i knew they'd do something to naomi and i kinda predicted what it would be but i still wish they hadn't.. but thats skins sigh. if she dies i won't know how to cope.
i think the character developments are good so far, naomi proves that you can have your career planned out and be really smart and still not be very successful. also she's still using the drugs and drink as a distraction from the **** in life. can't wait to see emily come back but it's gonna be tough!!
effy's good still, looks like she sorted herself out and for a few years and probably stuck to her meds too. the idea of her being in finance is really cool too.

effy is so hot this season and naomi looks way better with brown hair
I loved it last night, the whole point of this series was to show how they've grown up and I think that's exactly what it established. Effy has matured and grown up however she has still kept her devious and devil-like personality. Naomi will develop more in the next episode however I thought her career was a bit strange?????
The fact that boy/her boss fancied her showed that she still has men running after her and can wrap them round her finger, much like previous series. Quite a mild episode however next week's looks like it's back to normal!

Didn't think a lot of the ep, it wasn't horrific but I don't like how things turned out for Naomes!
The fact that she's just slobbing around when she was so bright, colourful and happy with a wonderfully strange dress sense. She got the best A-Level results out of the Gen 2 characters and appears to have done nothing with them and hasn't even got a job. And then they give her cancer! I mean seriously, just ruin her!
As for Effy...
Glad she's upped her game a little, never liked her before but now she has responsibility she's tolerable. It's also nice to see her dressed as a business woman and not in shorts and fishnets for once.
Looking forward to Emily's return next week :)

I just thought it was horrendous, I really didn't like it at all. I know it's supposed to show them growing up and everything, but it's just such yawn material. I'll probably still watch it just to see if it gets any better.

this is so weird. i can't believe skins and the writers going through with it.
don't get me wrong, i enjoyed SKINS FIRE but that story just didn't work in such a short space of time.
bringing in NAOMILY as side characters with such a strong story was a bad idea. fans are obviously not happy and it kinda left little closure. i guess naomi dies as the treatment doesn't work on her and they say she was dying, but to me it seems there were no goodbyes and i just can't get over that. i don't really take death well at all and the ending of naomi/naomily just didn't seem right. for that to happen, i would have needed to see the emotions of them both in their time together and to see people saying goodbye to naomi. it wasn't right.
would have liked to have heard more about effy's jail time.. ok so she's going to prison. for how long? skins should have done a little more research so fans could have got answers about the stories and so the story wasn't left so weirdly. literally the ending left me with an empty feeling wanting and needing more.
ok i've said too much but my emotions have been played with and i'm just gonna go watch greys anatomy for the rest of my life byE

naomi's death was inevitable and has given me a greater reason to dislike skins, i'm doNE!!!!!!!
also i wish it would of started with effy in jail and shown flashbacks it'd be such an interesting intake, the skins writers are so sloppy and just seem to want to create drama for no apparent reason and with no decent explanation
and i think two episodes for each character is crap too
