Complaint about Signatures [Freedom of Expression]

I have my own forums, so i am personally disappointed that i cannot add my own artwork to my signatures.

A signature is a key element that defines who each of us are, a forum signature is the same.
By taking that away, you're taking away our Freedom of Expression.

I literally spend hours making my signatures, and put a lot of care and effort into them, so it's disappointing when i find that i cant add them to my profile.

I want my Sig active, but i'm not paying, why should i? it's MY art, MY expression, it should be me charging you instead.

Either fix it, or i'll Manually add my own sig at the bottom of each one of my posts until the message is put across.

I really expected more from a site with such reputation... I guess too many people care more about money than pleasing their members.

NOTE: This doesn't mean that i will be breaking any rules.. just Protesting... Hopefully, other users will follow my lead, until it makes a difference.


and if you feel you need to Ban me, that won't work. I can make a new Email, New Habbo, New account, New Sig.

Oh, and i can Change my IP too, so if it really boils down to it, go for it, it would't be the first time.

Oh wow. A person who can change their IP. Hun, we don't care if you can change your IP. However, I feel that you have expressed who you are via these posts. I have not run into the problem of my sig. So, I really don't know why you are complaining. Have a nice day.

We do have signtuares here, you need a post count of 5 to be able to have one though. You only have 3 posts at the moment so after making 2 more you should be able to use one :)

Donator and VIP subscriptions only give you access to larger signatuares, the one you have will be fine as soon as you make enough posts!!

Huh, the attitude of some of the members above is pretty revolting :/ It was a valid and mature question, yet some members (not naming names, but it's blatantly obvious who they are) tell him to grow up and mock him, calling him a "loser". One suspects that they ought to follow their own advice and grow up themselves, as they only make the community untidy and unwelcoming.

It's not about the money money and I have no idea what the 5 posts until you can have a signature thing is all about but I'm sure there was a reason when it was introduced. Despite what some people might think there's normally a reason we add things or change rules, we don't just think hmm how will we piss people off today. @Chris; might be able to shed a light on it :D

It's not pointless, for all we know someone with a post count of one could break the rules in their signature.

The 5 posts thing is to stop people signing up and filling their signature with dodgy links and whatnot.

I believe it might be so someone spamming or attempting to hack can't have it in their signature until their posts are approved and they have 5.

Ah spam bots ofc lol. It's a shame that genuine new members can be put off from staying because they're so restricted.

Get better spam protection then lol.

And we complain about lack of members, then everyone goes and attacks the new ones :P

That is just one of the protections in place. There is a number of them in place which has decreased the bots quite a bit since the mass of them a month or so back.
