Wtf is the Scottish equivalent to year 9?
i dont know
just say which gcse/btec u picked
geography, history, business (2 year course) & production
i hated all of them apart from production. i changed my mind quite a bit towards the end of school and decided i wanted to do something completely different in college.
in year nine here we get 2 electives then in year eleven we pick em all!!
in yr 9 I did construction and graphics
pe, business studies, it, geog
Art and ICT
ict, media and food.
wish i'd have done pe or history instead of food tech. dumb choice. also wish our school had the options of psychology or film studies like some schools do. :(
Geography
History
ICT
Media Studies
along with all the compulsory ones I picked,
media, food tech (BIGGEST REGRET EVER), art, french, geography
but because I was in my second year of media in year 10 I couldn't do art so I was forced to do business studies which was very boring but kinda easy
er er
Religious Studies
German
Food Tech
Business Studies
dont think i was able to choose anythin else hmhm.
food tech coursework was so boring and repititive but my hard work paid off and I got an A*
geography, history, double science
re was compulsory in my school

@paramore, no disrespect to you as I believe it to be a national thing, but those GCSE's seem completely pointless :L
I took Stats, Music, PE and Triple Science (and a language, but that was compulsory). PE and music were purely for my enjoyment - love sport and music (don't get me wrong I am very athletic and musical, just I took them for the laugh).
Options:
French (had to choose one out of french/german)
Geography (had to choose one out of geography/history)
Music
Latin
Compulsory:
Biology Chemistry Physics
Maths
English lit and language
R.e short course
Business Studies, Engineering and Geography :P.
I picked Business Studies because it was all CourseWork [im **** at exams] but they've changed that know at my school
I also picked Health & Social Care which is absolutely ****. Me and my friends picked it because the teacher lied to us-
We will have loads of fun she said. I was bored within the first 30 minutes of the first ever lesson. The only parts i did enjoy was year 11 because we were on the computers all of the time typing up CourseWork.
IT FRENCH GEO
I only got to pick between about 5 options and had to pick two. I believe I had
