You wouldn't think it was possible, right? What an oxymoron. It's quite common to have irrational fears or fears you can't explain, but a fear of fear itself? How does that even work?

I'm a bit scared of the dark myself, which is a right inconvenience, especially in nightclubs or when I'm trying to sleep (because I can't sleep with the light on). It makes it very frustrating, but there is a reason behind it!

For this competition, I want you to think of the most irrational or weirdest fear you can. Phobophobia doesn't count, but you can make one up if you want!

Arachibutyrophobia - The phobia of peanut butter sticking to the roof of the mouth.

A true oxymoron would be aphobophobia, a fear of not having any fears :P that would be the oddest in terms of logical existence I reckon

Helmintophobia: Fear of being infested by worms.

Hippopotomonstrosesquipedaliophobia – fear of long words

Ithyphallophobia, fear of seeing or having an erect penis

Francophobia- Fear of France or French culture.
