Where's your proof lol? Why would Sulake not be happy with this when they own and run Habbo and ultimately would make the decision to ban these people somewhere down the chain of command?

Proof? Half my friends list have been banned. Pretty sure it includes Jakey and Sovia too.
Although I don't see why, it was a glitch in the catalogue, not Habbo players faults. At most they could deduct a year from their subscription.

The creator of this thread posted a link to a tool (in an older thread) that you could download and use to exploit the glitch allowing you to get a year HC for 100c. Obviously breaks the Habbo way, hence why they're all banned.
Their own fault they deserve it.
It isn't really a glitch per say though. You had to actively use illegal software to hack the system to get the cheap deal. It's a clear violation of the Habbo Way and Sulake shouldn't be slammed for moderating, they should be doing it more often.
I can remember Jake saying about getting cheap HC for a year when I was in his arcade, which probably means he's bannedQuote:

If you used a program, which is not meant to be used on Habbo - and is against the Habbo way to even use, you could enable the offer that came about a few years ago in which VIP for one year was 100c. People who used that program and brought a years worth of HC for 100c were banned, and the likelihood is they won't be unbanned either.

I have been banned for it too.
However, those who had it gifted to them were not given bans. Loads of people used a friend/clone to activate this and gift it to their main account and they have not been punished so I hope that is rectified.
I will take the appropriate punishment as I did use third party tools to try and gain an unfair advantage which does violate policy.
To be fair, if you're going against the rules to do it then every ban is deserved.
I don't know much about it though, admittedly.
Hey, i used a method to buy mine which was not against habbo way. :)
I also reported this a while back.
