i currently sit here eating my chicken BLC and im thinking THIS IS NICE but i wud much rather a godly regular mcchicken sandwich

omg I actually love bacon but I don't know how people get those massive bits with all the fat and stuff, the short cut ftw. I wouldn't say it is overrated because it is amazing, but it is overrated compared to other foods (chicken breasts mmm.)
yes its overrated and smells disgusting. I can eat it sometimes but it's one of the worst meats ever

Bacon is great, but not McDonald's bacon they put in burgers. The bacon they put into their bacon rolls is pretty decent though.

Uhh I'm a vegetarian but bacon smells pretty good. Don't like the idea of cooking it though because it looks like it spits hot fat at you the whole time ouch :(
I do like bacon, but having it all the time just puts you off. So, it can be over-rated to an extent.
I think the problem is that there are so many types of bacon and so many ways you can cook it that people will have a bad experience with unsmoked back bacon barely warmed up and be put off for life despite the existence of oak-smoked streaky cooked to be crisp without smashing when you put the fork in. Badly done bacon does make me quite sad

Bacon isn't overrated! I love it, but I don't like the fat on it and much prefer it when it's well done.
It's amazing if you cut the fat off, and get high-quality bacon. Otherwise it's just nasty...

had fried bacon and cabbage earlier!! I like it, preferably well cooked. The fat is nice when its crispy but I always cut the fat off before cooking.
