Year 8 - Information

Well I started back fresh for a new year at my high school. The same people, the same buildings, nearly the same teachers, except around 5 or 6.. The brand new year 7's look dead small xD I was helping them around, there is a bad thing though... I have to share a form room with year 7, considering there is a small intake on year 7, we have had to split year 8 and year 7 and have year 7 and 8 combined. Very annoying but oh well, also a brand new timetable, I will only post todays timetable (Only had 2 lessons)
The first day we had 2 form periods and a assembly, then we had 2 lessons, English and Geography

Lol, I have a mixture of lessons and I have IT on week B on wednesday and Friday

im Yr 10! Woooo. Well it's not really Wooooo, because we start coursework, but we now have to call it Portfolio Work!

I'm Year 10! But everyday i have like double lessons and they get boring. Today i had a triple lesson of science! I'm quite surprised we didn't start clawing eachothers eyes out with the thermometers and stuff!

Omg, yay. I'm glad I'm not alone. There's year 7's bigger than me, but they must be like extraextra tall. I'm small and like there's year 8's and stuff taller than me :@

we have a three teir system. so we have;

First School - Reception to Yr4
Middle School - Yr5 to Yr8
High School - Yr9 to 6th Form

Year 8 is just like year 7 really boring.. Year 10 now coursework coming soon -.-' blah, Atleast we go offsite on a thursday for 2 hours :D

ahhh year 8 its so pointless.. year 9, 10, 11 decide your life, year 7 & 8 are just to get you used to the surroundings... i despise school i find it terribly boring, in some parts i enjoy it when i have lessons with all of my friends and we dont have such a strict teacher becuase we sit off and talk all lesson messing about :d these will be the days i remeber when i am older ;) good luck in year 8 ! tis hell :o

My school only just changed to two tier system last year i remember middle school had to leave in year 7

My view of all the years...

Year 7 - Everythings new
Year 8 - Plain year
Year 9 - Everyone buzzes about SATs and they look like total freaks
Year 10 - They all start goin "Awwwww ive got course work" Which they basically brag about and think there really old and important.
Year 11 - [Year im in] Everything is rushed, long nights trying to get lots of coursework finished, revision classes ending at like 4 o clock [I finish at 2:30] Gcse's then an early finish [Cant wait]

year 8 is exactly the same as year 7.

Still donk know when to keep your gob shut

Think you own the place becaus eyou finaly know where the E block is.

Year 9 is where it realy starts. Its the time when most (exeot the ******s) start to go through puberty.

Im in Year 10 now, have to start cource work :( But now I can go offsite without looking over my back every 2 secs. :D

But that takes half the fun away from going off site at lunch.

most people start puberty in year 7 :s and i hate year 9 you get the anoying talks about what you doing for options ect..

Trust me if you let our old year 9 out there would be trouble

we have been described as the worst year group in year 8.

Im proudly in what the teachers say is the worst form group in the year.

Its basicly like 40-50 of us out of 200+ that has given our year that rep :D

I wish I had some fit gals in my school.

There are some but theres no way any of them would go out with someone avarage as they have to get the prettyest most "good looking" and usualy ****** boy friend.

Most of the kinda fit gals in my school have only been out with 1-2 people (most of them are like 18:O) becus they think their better than most of da lads in the school
