Omg pmsl what a silly mistake.

I would be careful buying it though, if they realise what mistake they've made they're probably going to try and rectify it.
It looks so bad and at 750c!
er don't think it'll ever be sold on for that price in future! thought it'd be on sale for 100c max
750c.. Are people actually serious
750c for a bloody egg that is ridiculous
Will be interesting to see how many sell! None have sold so far, although it's not officially on sale just yet.

Sold out!
The egg sold out literally 3 seconds after?
Anyone get a screenshot of it?
750c and sold out, impressive, I could buy but I let it pass.
Anyone seen any sold for more or less afterwards?
Looks like they are pandering to the rich casino-goers rather than average folk. Cannot see a seasonal LTD rising too much above its catalogue price.
wow wow wo w w ow
would be interesting if one person bought the majority and the price rockets
There's much rarer items in the market which sell for below 750c, I'm surprised people liked this so much :P.
People trying to sell for 15gb/750c.. only #1 (owned by Xbox,) is getting offers
can't believe it actually sold out lol wow
@e5;

it's the fabergé egg
Saw one sold at 22gb (#69), Some people asking 15-18gb, #1 is 150gbs or offer.
get out did people actually buy all of those
Buying this was a very bad choice.
People assumed that it would do well because it was sold for the same price and quantity that the Pink Dragon was. They are looking at how successful the dragon was and think this egg will be the same way, but they are totally wrong. The pink dragon did so well because it was a much-demanded recolour of the most popular rare in the hotel. There was a huge demand to own one almost immediately after it left the catalogue and prices surged towards the 80gb mark.
This egg will do the opposite for one reason: it is ugly. People never seem to consider that most of the reason rares EVER do well is because there is some sort of appeal to them. There is no appeal to this egg. It is a poorly designed rare that won't be used except for perhaps in an Easter-themed event. At least that's the message I've been hearing loud and clear from the public.
The other reason this egg won't do well is because 4 more of these are slated to be released within the week. That essentially means that there will be 500 eggs exactly like this one to be puchased for 750c a pop. Today alone, 63k credits were sucked out of the economy from LTD sales. This means that if the other LTD eggs sell out at the same price, a total of 375k credits will be removed from the economy. I'm pretty sure that considering how slow the economy's been lately, there won't be enough willing buyers to purchase these rares from people who just got them from the catalogue.
Even today, we're seeing a massive scramble to sell these eggs. People are willing to sell the eggs at very slight profit margins--as little as 50c over the price of the catalogue. This is a sure recipe for disaster as people will soon realize that there are more sellers than buyers. In fact, the only person who has even received an offer on their egg is ,Xbox, the user who owns the #1 egg.
Anyway, I'll be lounging on my sofa as I watch people realize that they've just made a huge mistake. Let the games begin!
I wouldn't use this in an easter room - it'd only fit in with furniture like the Throne/Maj/Throne Sofa/Samovar/Nordic Table, and those kind of items - that's my view anyway :P. The fact there'll be more colours of these is a good point to keep in mind, definitely. I think what may have pushed some people in to buying one is the chance to get a good number.
at the moment due to casinos being removed, double credits and ecotronable furni it looks like there are enough credits out there to splash out, still surprised it sold out mind.
wonder if they'll keep the price the same or go down the pillow route (4/5x more available for a slightly lower price)
Having all 5 as a set will be nice, but yeah 750 not for me. It will do well in future tho when people leave / get permed / bulk them.
Xbox, sold his for 105gb :) not bad!
im shocked that habbo didnt learn their mistake from the last ridiculously priced ugly LTD
im also suprised ppl actually bought them all, let alone so fast
surprising it got sold out bc no one cares about ltd anymore
The egg looks a lot like http://s2.postimg.org/wil42noeh/Faberge_Egg_9574943.jpg
Is it possible Habbo did this on purpose?
I don't think they were trying to make it look particularly appealing, it was more about the small amount being sold for a very high price. They've noticed there's been a real drop in trading because of closing casinos and wanted to do something about it.
If you owned a fairly successful but not super-famous small casino and gained your credits through trading and not buying off the black market (I know quite a few smaller casino owners were mostly legit), you're suddenly stuck with a load of rares and coins after casinos are banned. And you have nothing to do with these coins anymore. I suppose maybe Habbo was hoping they'd jump at these LTDs and sell as fast as they can, which will be boosting the economy. And actually they were kind of right because the LTD sold out in seconds after it was properly released and most people are making profits (albeit small profits unless you're #1).
I think Habbo is really dragging it out with these other four eggs that are going to be released though. Sales will decrease more and more each time because 5 LTDs released so close together is just too much, particularly as they're not even attractive. Still, the first one was a good idea IMO.
