that we have too many material belongings and that butterflies are cool
white people
We hold on to material objects because we think they make us feel secure, when in reality they are cluttering our lives.
A butterfly on a scale thing and a naked human on one side which is blue. The other side is red with, I don't know, looks like luggage at first.
It seems really smudged which doesn't help to make it very good. I have no idea what its true meaning is, I don't believe it has one (even if it's meant to). It is what it is, that's all. I've never seen meaning from any painting, paintings don't show anything to me other than what's actually on it.
Is it even a painting? I can't tell. But it still looks smudged.
people have too much baggage and we need to strip it away and be free
or butterflies weigh a lot
it means we should try to be as materialistic as possible so we are finely balanced. lolol
Either the suitcases are empty or the man is fat
That the guy has put all of his clothes in his suitcases - and that's a lot of clothes.
we hold on to too much stuff we don't need
Hmm, it shows that even a slightest itsy bitsy stuff have the ability to change it all. An example on that butterfly, it does put some weight on the man's side of the scale.
The way I see it is: just you weight so much more than suitcases, meaning you are so much more valuable than material possessions, so you don't need them.
That butterflies and bright lights distract us from evil things. But I don't get the chains around the person?
how much we hold onto when it could be let go idk
