Something I have noticed about watching some matches during this World Cup, is that there seems to be a lot more boring kicking the ball around amongst the defence rather than trying to push forward. Wouldn't the teams have a better chance of scoring if they didn't do this? I just don't get it.

Because it moves the time and days when the soaps are on. (I'd rather watch the soaps than football)

One thing that annoys me?

The players are overpaid for kicking a ball around on a field.
