Would you get back with an ex?

Simple as the title really. I've kinda done it before but it's never worked out, always remember the problems that were there, even if they're gone now. I find it really easy to remember the anger & not the good stuff. I'm kinda having the same problem right now, not really an ex but eugh idk.

I know people say leave your past in the past but when you found someone and then break up it's so easy to just be like "omg gonna be alone forever with my 24 billion cats", then get back for ease?

I'm really good friends with almost all of my exes and I honestly don't think I could really get back together with any of them (maybe one because it was just a timing thing when we split), not because I don't like them though. I'd have literally no qualms about having like "bonus night" or doing anything, it's hard for me to feel comfortable with someone so if I do then I see no problems carrying anything on, maybe a while after it happened, if you're sexually compatible but not relationshippy.

Anyway, yeah. Whadya think? Could you?

there's one that i'd probably get back with but never know for sure unless the situation arises, which it won't again.

depends why we broke up. no current ex id get back with if i found myself single tho. iv lusted after ex's in the past but realistically wouldn't have a relationship with any of them again.

Max and I broke up for 4 months and got back together around a month ago now - it's so much better than before, it means a lot more and it's a reality check we both needed. Mainly, the reason we broke up the first time was due to someone else as they kept pushing something that wasn't going to happen and didn't really understand that I had someone - he got between us, but now we've both realised how much of an idiot he was to both of us and how he wouldn't have been the greatest person in a relationship anyway.

There's only really one other person I'd get back together with, but it'd be to see how much we've matured and grown since going out with each other. We were each other's first partners, and we didn't go out that long. We generally don't speak much anymore, but he's one of the only people I went out with who didn't hurt me - we were just a little young, and regardless of not speaking he's always there if I needed him, which is nice to know. There was a bit of time where we nearly got back together, but we both knew it wasn't the right decision then, and then we both got new partners :P.

sooo i've got one proper ex and no. i'd really like to think i wouldn't get back in that relationship.

i actually kinda think i'm not really a relationship type of person and right now i can't imagine myself in a relationship with anyone. i hope this changes because parts of me wish i would be good dating somebody, but i'm not sure if it's my thing.

got 2 exes (ok me and the first one were on and off like three times sh i was a kid) and can safely say i want nothing to do with them ever again :P

I could yes, mainly because I wouldn't have dated them in the first place if there wasn't some sort of connection or if I didn't have feelings for them, and what I've come to discover is that these feelings don't always go away very easily.

In my case I'm always the one that messes up or gets things wrong anyway and the one that ruins everything, and I've never really just 'fell out of love' with anyone, I would say I probably do the opposite and end up really annoying people I care about until the point where they get fed up with me and move on to something better, which is good because they deserve it.

I think it's a touchy subject. It would all depend on why we broke up in the first place..

i stayed friends with all of my exes. not single now and i dont think id get back with any of them anymore even if i wasnt cos I never really loved them, it was just a school thing where it was like a mission to get a girlfriend to fit in (another reason though is that its been so long since i last had a girlfriend i've lost touch with all of them :P)

I don't think so. My first boyfriend we'd been together for 2 years and he broke up with me literally every weekend to the point I got so annoyed after he 'broke up' with me on Christmas day and I ended it for good on boxing day. Didn't look back as he wasn't very commited.

My second boyfriend was lovely and we were long distance lasted for 8 months, I told myself in the future I'd give it another try but now 2 years later we are two completely different people, I realise our maturity levels are different and we no longer want the same things. I don't fancy him or really have feelings, I just feel like he's someone I know for a while.

My third ex was abusive and I was holding out for him to change and he didn't so I definitely wouldn't get back with him. To be fair, I think it depends entirely on what the person is like.

Erm 1 of my ex's asked me out like couple of months ago and I said no and all my mates were like oh god give him another chance so I got mad lmao. We were kinda friends for a whilr but now I find him really annoying and self centered so no I wouldn't date him again

Depends on how we broke up and if I still loved them. If they'd cheated on me and then asked to go back out I'd say no but if it just ended because we needed a break then yeah I'd consider getting back with them.
