Credit Card

I know I'm old enough to get one, because you only have to be 10, but I dont know HOW to get one :'(

Can anyone tell me?

Don't get a credit card mon ami. I have too many friends that I've seen go in huge amounts of debt because they'd keep charging when they didn't have enough to pay it off. A safe bet would go your bank and get a debit check card. It'll count as a credit card except it takes money directly from your checking account. That way you can't go over your balance.

I think you have to be 13 for a bank card? Don't you? Correct me if I'm wrong :rolleyes:

You can get a Debit card when your 15 but you have to have £20-£30 going into your bank account in 1 month.

I went on the HSBC website, filled in the form, and then it said page cannot be displayed. :@

Just drop into your local bank :) It'll be easier aswell doing it in the bank :p

Yea i know i realised what you said so i edited it lollol xD

and a debit card is'nt like a credit card

a debit card you can only spend your money you've put in the bank
a credit card is when you spend loaned money with a limit to spend

so debit is a safe option you wont get into debt
credit card is'nt 79% of credit card users get into debt

Same sort of thing basically, its just you spend your own money using the same way of buying stuff as the credit card.

Yeah i have a cash card, which ive lost somewhere because i dont use it, i dont use my bank full stop, i have about 55p in there. I keep all my money in my safe at my house x]

Its safer ;) to keep your money in the bank. It will come in handy in the future when companies see that you use your bank regulary.

No because you cant get into debt with a debit card and with credit cards people go OTT and cant pay it off

Im one of those people that when they have money they "Must" spend it, I cant help it but i find it irritating when i have money in my pocket and im not spending it, whats the fun of having money if youre not spending it...

It's not 10. It's 13. And that's for a DEBIT card, not a CREDIT card. I would reccommend a debit card, I have recently got one. That way you RECIEVE interest instead of having to PAY interest.
