It is an improvement on the HC Executive, but that isn't really saying much...
I posted in the Bubblers forum recently about the HC gifts and gift format not being good enough. I really hope they take not of it. HC furni used to have some value. You'd get one pre-chosen furniture a month for 11 months, then on the 12 month the cycle started again (minus the HC Sofa and HC Plasto set). Later on they added more furniture and I believe it became a 24 month cycle but whatever, same principle applies.
The last few batches of HC gifts have not been poor, and the fact we're allowed to pick what we want means they hold little value. On Attached I have 54 gifts available. On MoHRooms I have 38 gifts available. Anything they release I could immediately make worthless but getting loads of it. I think the format needs to change back to the original format, as does the quality of the gifts.
Eurgh its awfull...
I got 7 gifts to select so I think I'll be saving them up for another few years again haha

Have it like the old HC range that's mostly maintained its value over the years, each month you get something different until you're at the start again. Although, if they're continuing with recolours there's nothing stopping them making all the gifts different.
To carry on their two monthly gifts they could easily give out Diamonds that could also progress per month, but a limit could be set (although adding one per month say won't do much harm).
They're not going to make anything by releasing horrible items. Although I sort of like the Tea Maker, but I think that's because I like the furniture itself anyway.

I think some of the furni are okay, but I don't really want them. Plus they wouldn't really go well with any of the furni I own :(

Like I said, return to the old format. Most of the first batch of HC furnitures maintained value for quite a while, even throne sofas are still worth about 30c or so.
I'm sure they could think of a clever way for us to use up all of our remaining gift points as well.
Better than exec but I agree with most comments here. They should just make a new original ones and bring back the old format which is rotating gifts.
It's naff. They've put no effort in to making it seem exclusive if all they've done is recoloured an already existing section of furni. Poooor effort :(
The furni is ugly :( I have around 60 hc gifts to choose, and could do the same damage as attached said. I preferred the automatic cycle too, rather than choice cos people like me could just buy anything and make it worthless. The fact casinos are gone ruins most markets anyway.
Feel free to agree me with in the Bubblers forum guys! The more people who get behind it, the more likely we are to return to the old format.
