What do you think your parents done right with your upbringing?
Might have been something you absolutely hated at the time, but can appreciate now that you're more grown up.

Moving me away from London at a young age. Don't get me wrong I've nothing against London, just the area I used to live in wasn't very nice lol.
to save money and live minimally
Stick to their word
Don't give me things for nothing
Let me make decisions about my life
DID not done!!!
Well my dad always tried to get me to try out new things as much as he could and while I think he did try the wrong things, he couldn't continue as my mum stopped him because I didn't like it (but I would have eventually found one I liked I'm sure). So my mum screwed up a bit in that regard. And he would always go to parents evenings, award evenings etc. things like that even if I didn't want him to except in my 2nd year of college where I outright told him I don't need him to and he could accept it at this age. I could probably go on a fair amount what my dad did, not so much my mum. Something they both did well when I was in my younger years, however, was just how well they managed.
I'm not English.
Well, now you know. Besides, don't have to be English to properly write it :P
My mum always sorted out my school stuff for me if I had a problem. Actually, she still tries to email my teachers if I'm having trouble with schoolwork at home :( That's quite annoying now and I have to be careful what I mention around her about school or she'll email them secretly!
Still, it was really good when I was younger because I never had a single unauthorised absence at secondary school and my teachers would give me extra help if they knew I was having trouble but too shy to ask.
I was smacked for being naughty (which makes you think twice before doing so again) and I was barred from spending money on rubbish, which is why unlike some of my friends I am good as spending and budgeting.
Read to and with me and make sure homework assignments were always done. Yh and smacking.

They always let me follow my own path of things, I suppose. Like my dad would've rathered I did maths than music, but they still let me go on with what I loved. They support every decision I make... Or at least, try to.
They're really supportive and they made sure that I am always polite and well mannered.
