Yepp! You heard it! The three hotels are now closing for good.
After a long battle against retros and a huge loss of users the three nordic hotels have been decided to get closed.
Also: Habbo will delete all furniture and accounts, you wont be able to transfer anything

It would be better just to merge all the hotels together and have different lobbies for different languages, being able to swap between them as you please. The only problem with that would be another one of the merge disasters with furniture prices dropping, etc.
It's not as if we have that great of a staff community presence as well, so that wouldn't matter.
Guess this is a reminder that eventually everyone on .com will be saying goodbye to their thousands of pounds worth of furniture, with nothing to show for it.
Not surprised. Those hotels have been dead for a long time :P

Wonder if they'll close anymore.
Habbo.fi isn't fairly popular anymore (I actually can't find the user numbers on the website I had to go onto the client and judge on naviagtor) based on how many people seem to be current in the hotel.
Habbo.it has 500 or so in the hotel right now as well.
I don't think this will be the last closures they do :P
Sad news for users of those hotels. At least the .com hotel isn't really at any risk.

Pretty disgraceful they closed without warning and refuse to merge when they're clearly able to. I suppose they don't want to disturb .com rare values in the risk of pissing people off enough to quit.
The game is on the way out, thats for sure.
Shame that they are not willing to move accounts to .com or something, feel sorry for the people who spent money on there.
As a Habbo that have spent almost 10 years on the Swedish hotel, this feels very sad. We users (especially we in the Habbo Guide team) have been trying to convince our staffs that they need to start advertise (which was the reason why Habbo was so popular before) and take more effort in dealting with the huge retros that are taking away Habbo's users. But everytime this has happened, our staffs have in advance replied that there were no budget allowed for advertisments from the head office. This showed quite clear that they were up to something.
However most of us knew the Swedish hotel would be closed, we thought our hotels would be merged with the other Scandinavian countries, since our languages are mutually intelligible with each other and the staffs wished for having a joint SE/DK/NO-hotel. NOW that this isn't happening, I think most people are quite angry. I find it a bit unfair how the Russian hotel who always was a small hotel was able to get some compensation while we Scandinavians don't get anything. Something tells me this just will be the beginning of a new time for Habbo.
Unfortunately, because there's so few of us left, they can pull this crap without causing a turmoil big enough for it to effect them. This feels like a pretty big *REMOVED* to all of us who have stayed despite how bad Habbo has turned over the last couple of years.

400 and 2,000 is quite a difference. You should also include the numbers from the other hotels. Hell Habbo Brazil still gets like 10,000+ when I checked last.Quote:

The problem is once the hotel drops to a certain level the decline will become to obvious that other users won't bother logging on either/more people will leave who came on but who didn't really play. Some of us habbos that've been speaking to customer service has got some compensation today for use on the English hotel (due to the closure). Every Habbo who's in contact with them gets compensation apparently, interesting how Sulake from the beginning said that they wouldn't give any compensation. Looks like they changed their minds.
