Ahh, a classic trade city style room - I do like it :) Are these kind of rooms popular anymore?
do all trade rooms look like a poorly designed ripoff of varnius's original one

No, I wasn't the one to come up with the pyramid. :P I introduced the half a pyramid in late 2011 with VIP/Moderator area on the top. :) seemed to of been used in a lot of Trade Cities since then.
And no, Trade Cities aren't popular anymore. It's all about auctions. :)
