For like Footy/Rugger you have to be - but for projects or lesson work it s harder - coz invariably you'll get "lumped" with the non-tryers or those who keep the results/work to themselves and are loathed to share the conclusion etc
I will put in what I think is my fair share and nothing more. If that means I fail a project then so be it, I'd rather fail than prop up anyone who isn't pulling their weight. However, if I have the option to do it alone, then I probably will.
I can work in groups and am usually the one who ends up doing everything. I do mind doing everything but I'd rather do that than fail getting the job done; I'm not prepared to fail because nobody else cares. I work better alone but you won't get far in life if you can't work with others.
I'll work with anyone who is willing to put the work in. If not then they can sod off. :P
no i prefer to do things alone because if things aren't done exactly how i like/intend them to be done then i get really stressed and feel disorganised, furthermore i mostly end up redoing the whole thing myself when i do things in groups.
If I'm working with people I normally take charge, especially if I know what I'm doing because I'm super confident with people so I'm normally okay. If someone is better at something than me though I sit back and work as a team. I much prefer doing things by myself though, because then I don't have to rely on anybody but me.
I don't mind working in groups if I like everyone. Generally I'll be the one to do most of the work and take charge anyway. I also like working alone too, but yeah I can be a teamplayer when I want to be.
I am a team player in the sense that I can work in groups - however, I usually find I've been with annoying people so I've ended up doing everything myself. If I was in a good group, with hard working people I'd probably be a great team player. At the same time, I like working individually as well.
Basically, I'll use Steve Jobs to sum up my opinion;
‘A players like to work with other A player's, not C player's.’.
So, give me A Players to work with and I will be happy. Lump me with C Players and I will not be cooperative.
I can and most prefer working alone, however when you move into a working life sometimes you can not avoid working as a team.
Through college I pretty much refused to work in a group. I was put in one and told my teacher that I would only work alone and not in a group where I'm the only one doing anything - got the best topic for a presentation and was allowed to do it alone. :-)
I am definitely a team player because I can work with people that I would rather not work with. I would just help that person get better and be the leader and try my best at whatever it is.

I wasn't in school. I used to hate team work in school but as I've gown up I've kinda come to terms with it. I don't mind it as much
I work in a team so it's essential for me.
I hate working in groups. This was something that I was made to do all the way through university and it made me very !!!!
First year I was in a group with two girls that did rock all! Made me sooo angry.
