Successful fansite applications are announced today!!
I think the list will be the standard 6 or 7 they are at the moment with maybe a few new sites too
I know CraveHabbo, HabboBites, MadHabbo and I think I saw create habbo (despite not having a running site yet) were all applying...
Someone alert me when they're announced!!!

Assuming HabboBites will get it, they've done well enough that even I've heard of them. MadHabbo I've heard of too but only as jokes lol
Announcement in 4 minutes and I'm nervous for some reason wtf I just wrote the entire fansite event script we're not gonna be dropped

Got an invite from a couple of peeps I don't know but still have on my F/L saying they were thrilled HabboBites are on the list
I mean usually I've heard of all of the fansites at least

Habbo-Happy is a Spanish fansite I'm sure because I use them sometimes as a resource site for news.
Habbo Holiday has a cool maze, I completed it a while ago.

Does official still mean anything? I remember how it did then it didn't then I don't know where it is at the moment
Yeah we get to go to meetings with Habbo staff, get previews of new ranges and events, some badges on the hotel, organise official events and get things featured on the navigator (new thing that I don't think anyone's done yet haha)Quote:

i would leave hxhd if the fansite drop-in came to be a thing. fansite lounge pah the original was better, constantly had fansite owners in there who were organizing events in there, causing beef between other sites it was healthy for the most part and brought a lot of communities that separeted from eachother together. nowadays each fansite hangs out in its own event room and shuns everybody else.Quote:

Yeah the problem is the way people use Habbo has changed so it's not always possible to revive old ideas :( we do have some kind of say in fansite events - the awful fansite face off thing was my idea that we discussed in a meeting (the idea was good it just wasn't executed well) - to bring more things like that to the table!!Quote:

I'm suspect to say that HabboBites is an emerging fansite but it has a good structure and at least 10% of the members are ambassadors if I'm not mistaken, it's a good place to stay
It's predominantly Asian so when we are sleeping they start to create their events. I would love to join a single game of them but it usually happens at 5AM (Brazil)
Yeah there's a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge number of Malay/Filipino users on these days, any time you host an event in the daytime UK it's full of them and they're so bouncy and excitable it's cute. Definitely an untapped market for us tbh
I know I'm just saying that wouldn't really work because the majority of fansite activity on client is event-based in their own rooms - hardly any "regular" habbo player (that is, not someone affiliated to a fansite) will come into a fansite thing *unless* its an event, with the exception of the odd club room and stuff!!Quote:
