I actually don't have a preference because I have neither, but I will say that PS4 has done quite a good job over the past few years by advancing their consoles and coming up with creative ideas.
Ps4 personally as its easier to use and it looks more attractive :)
Xbox one.
Essentially the same machine.
Prefer PS4 simply because it has more games I like but even then it's basically a Netflix box for 90% of the time it's on.

PS4 because I have one! I managed to get for a great price when they were releasing the slim version. The company I bought from messed me about so I managed to get a slim one for the same price. My boyfriend has a PS4 so my interest came from that hence I bought one (well went half as it was a Christmas present too) :P.
