Its not a card, its basically an easy way to tranfer money over the internet. You must be 16 so you can apply for a Flex Account (I'm with Nationwide), you will receive a card and cheque book along with a pin, all received on seprate days.
You can then save money into the Flex Account, use online internet banking to see cach withdrawrals and balance details etc...

If you have sufficent funds in your account, if you were browsing the net and saw a pair of trainers you liked, you could then transfer the money over to the company without the hassle of sending it via post etc...

Its used alot on Ebay as it fast, safe and easy to transfer money over the net
