    Default runaway stories

thease were written by me and my mate they are fictinal so not real atal

On July 6, 2004, our 15 year old daughter, Ashley, had ran away
with a 32 year old man, C., from our local public pool in St. Joseph, MO. C. had persuaded her to runaway with him out of state because he has a probation violation that would send him back to prison for 12 years. He picked her up that day in his dad's stolen gray 1995 Pontiac Bonneville, license plate # 377MPY, from Missouri. On September 5, 2004, C. was arrested in Olympia, WA., standing on a corner where homeless people hang out, but unfortunately our daughter was not with him.
We have since discovered that C. has a cousin in Olympia that he was staying with. Since his capture, he has refused to talk with detectives about our daughter or anything at all and his cousin claims that C. never even mentioned our daughter. C. is awaiting extradition back to Missouri and we have a strong feeling that our daughter is in the state of Washington. We have no idea of where the car is, it has never been recovered.
There has never been a single day since she has been missing that we don’t think and worry about her, we all miss her so much. We believe that she was so easily persuaded to leave because she thought that my husband and I, were mean to her by making her go to school, giving her a curfew, and discipline that goes with parenting. Unfortunately, she could never understand that we did this because we love her so much and just wanted the best for her. We never wanted her or our other two children to have to struggle or do without things because we know they deserve better in life. Ashley is a beautiful young lady that is so bright and has a wonderful sense of humor. She brightens every ones life that comes in contact with her, she is a gift from God.
Since she has been gone, our family will never be the same and we have learned so much from this experience. We will never assume or take things for granted and realize how precious everyday is with the ones you love. It is so easy to get caught up in everyday life with bills, jobs, or unexpected occurrences, that you overlook the most important people in your life. We have always tried to let A. know how much we love her, but obviously not enough. If we ever get that chance again, we will never make that same mistake, our daughter taught us that.
I’ve often thought of what I would say to her if she could hear me now. Ashley we all love and miss you so much. There is an emptiness inside of all of us that will never be whole again without you. As parents, we always thought how much you need us, but now we realize that we need you even more. We all in life make choices, some our good and some our bad, that’s what makes us human, but no matter what choice is made a family sticks together. There is no stronger strength in life that the love of a family can’t conquer. Please contact us, I promise that we will all work through this together, and you will definitely know how much you are loved and missed.
