my rant on habbox vip

Recently i have seen brand new members getting 7 rep bars in one day and getting offf the chart rep powers. i have also learned that now any forum vip can buy rep. i find this insulting to senior members who spend all their months on habbox forums earning their rep. Rep power used to mean respect and that you have done something to benefit others. now it just means ur using ur money to look all fancy. People with high rep power used to mean they were trustworthy and you could count on them now it means they are new and just buying rep to make them look like they are popular :rolleyes: my opinion on this buying rep thing is a disgrace to senior members and is like slapping us in the face. what is your opinion on this?

Yeah, I've been here for what 18 months.. and I've got 4 Rep.. While others who have been here since October have like 5-10!

I think they should change the amount of reputation you get for the time you have been here.. 1 Reputation every Year is hardly enough.. It should be like 1 every 3 months. I would have 9 rep !

i think they should only give rep out to vip members who have been here u gain 1 rep bar ever 2-3 months as a vip member due to the fact ur supporting the forum and gaining no personal advantage over other members such as what buying rep does by buying rep noobs will abuse it :\

Also you have got to take into account that Habbox and the websites that are provided cost alot to keep running with server costs etc. So by having people able to buy rep it helps fund the costs, as if there were not things like that Habbox would not be able to survive.

but there is always a downside to things like this soon habbox will be over run with high rep powered noobs abusing their rep :rolleyes: and dont bother saying put it in that thread report unacceptible rep received u know how many im still waiting to have removed :rolleyes:
