All you need to do is look at how many users are online at so and so.

From 3:30 - 8:30 between 5k - 10k

After then, it drops to about 2k.

I think a lot of people realised this when they read the newsie first time round? Me and Implified did, but anyway... it's probably just some careless people who clicked the wrong things when filling the form in, and not reading it properly.
