    Post Healthy Food

I was watching You are what you eat last night, and I asked my mum if we eat healthy, but we don't really. At the moment we can't really afford anything, but I feel that I want to eat healthily, as it looked really nice! Could we still afford it if we ate that sort of food? And what foods can we not eat?

    Thanks.
    ~Stacey

I love that programme. You could try cutting down on fatty foods such as:
    • Chocolate
    • Crisps
    • Sweets
    • Biscuits
    • Cakes
And any other fatty foods that you eat. Healthy foods are most likely to be cheaper than fatty foods. Maybe try going onto a search engine like google and searching about healthy foods. Also maybe try setting yourself a food diary and write down what you have each day. Hope everything goes ok.

I don't think it costs more. I have seen this done on TV before.

Healthy food doesn't necesserely cost more, infact its cheaper.

Its good to encourage yourself to eat some fruit, drink fluids that your body actually needs, water, milk. Think of fizzy drinks as a 'treat yourself drink', obviously don't treat yourself too much
I'm sure you'll find ways of eating healthy from watching that programme.
