    Default Removal

    Hi,
I'm looking round the net for instructions on removal of a standard twin-DIN Ford radio.

If anyone could explain how, or find instructions on the net, I will rep.

Please note that the reason for doing so is to install my newly bought JVC radio in our car. I know the basic electronics but I've no idea how to remove the original radio.

    Cheers

PS. It does not explain in the owners manual.

Theres usually little *****s in the side of the radio.

If not dig your *****driver down a bit and yank and see if anything happens.

If if does without cracking thats how you get it out.

Then you have to unwire it and disconnect all the wires and then re-wire the new one in.

There so integrated now, I asked my brother and he said that Ford makes there radios pretty easy to take out.

Apparently you need a key to take them out but I read on the Ford forums that you can just stick a pen in the whole. ;P
