work experience xD

i'm going to camp marlow for 1 week, and then like well i' not sure about the second. maybe police.

but yeah i'm so excited. it's actually a school trip for the year 7's, but year 10's can go along for work experience. it's an outdoor activity center, where you go orienteering, kayaking, sailing, rock climbing, and all sorts of different team skills activitys, like building a raft and getting to the other side of the lake. i'm reaaaaaaaaaaally looking forward too it !

where are you lot going? oh this isn't until like june/july lmao

I've had my work experience, but i went to work in my old school, in the front office.

I had to photocopy things, laminate [sp?] things, and put pieces of paper into plastic wallets for the teachers cars. FUN!

I also, answered phones, and signed late kids in.

coz we gotta work with people we don't know. but tbh marlow, we're working with the year 7's and teachers at our school, lmao.

Well I have applied for the places I want to go, but I wont find out if I got in any till after Christmas and then I actually do the work experience in June. I have applied for the local veterinary surgery, my old primary school and virgin mega-stores.

I did mine last July and I worked in a school with a year 2 class, helping them do work, preparing for last day of school, making displays, spent a day in resources, spent a day in the office and also laminated lots of things which was the best bit about it all.

My work experience was amazing and enjoyed every minute!

I had wanted to work with a Psychologist, but I wrote to loads and they all said no due to the "confidential nature" of their work or something.
So in the end I went to Bristol Crown Court - it was mainly observation based but it was pretty interesting

No offence Garion but if i was sitting there with a ***** i'd hate the prospect of a teenage work experience guy hearing my personal stories, thoughts and problems too

and urm, i went to work in the council civic catering department. Believe me, it might sound boring but it was bloody fun and i was respected and whatnot... the people were extremely funny, good to work with and generally cool.

Yes, I understood why lol. I was just disappointed x] The court was interesting though!

I had work expierance for 3 days a week ago or so, I was at a Law firm.
