Right, I have my phone on contract, and so does my mate, same network and stuff. He says that he can upgrade his phone before the contract ends with no extra cost or anything.

Is this true, or a load of balls? (Note; I am on Orange.)

    Thanks in Advance,
    -Adam

I am on contract, you can update your phone once the contract ends and you get a free upgrade i think...

I was trying to get him to 'lose' his phone, then get a new one on the insurance. But he wouldn't agree. ;[

I contacted orange, and found out this is fine. There's a small upgrade fee, but I'm fine with that. Thread closed due to question answered.
