Im trying to put a Avatar I made,its the right size but it says its not a JPG,ect,ect. So my question is how do I get it so I can put it on?

open your avatar on paint and select save as and then choose a file to save it as (not bitmap bmp) i use png but u can also use jpeg or gif but png for me doesnt lose any quality when i save it.
