Wow, I Like the Banner... the black content/navigation box looks a bit... out of place... but its still v gd

More colourful. Black makes it seem a lonely and dark site.

Well it is a graphics site and i see most are fairly dark.

Just because most are dark, doesn't mean that yours has to be dark. Always go with the designs in your head first, never copy the style of the websites out there. Be unique.

I am not . I can work better in dark than i can in light i can try a light version i just prefer dark .
