    How do you tell if a vb forum is fake or real?

    They're normally many versions out of date.

    You can also corrupt its database but thats just. a secret :p.

    also you would see at the top of every php file;

    It will have 'Nullified By..' etc..

    When installing the forum it wont ask for your customer number when it always does.

    You can also see that if you dont have root access (And you cant view PHP files) you can go to http://www.thedomainnamehere.tldhere...lletin_menu.js and it will have it up the top of it.
    Occasionally visit and have a nose.

    its slightly harder tho, as i discovered. someone had posted a Vb Serial On a Site, which was being used, it took a bit of research to dig up the post and get the person to leave

    - so its v hard
