When making threads, please make sure they are not targeting other in an offensive way, this is not acceptable, and creating threads specifically targetting another person will get you in trouble. This also includes making threads / posts with another Habbo / Hobba / HabboX / Habbo Staff's photo

    You have been warned.

Post Telling others what / what not to post

Telling others what / what not to post

    Hey,

Please when posting in the UK News and Rumours Forum do not tell other people how/what to post, for example do NOT make a thread saying 'Stop making threads about blahblah!'

    This is stupid for a few reasons;

    1) It's another thread on the same thing that you're telling others not to post on, so is pointless anyway,

    2) You won't achieve anything by making these threads if you're not in authority, probably just a load of abuse from other Forum Members, so it's best not to,

    3) It's not your job to tell others how/what to post -- It is the job of the Forum Moderator to uphold the rules of habboxforum, and if we consider a thread/post as breaking the rules then we will take the necessary action, as we have the power to, unlike Forum Members who just make a post telling others not to make posts - what's that going to achieve?

If you have a problem with a post then it's best to send a Post Report, all Moderators of that particular Forum are sent a PM with all the report information in, or admins if there are no Moderators online -- We can deal with it much quicker this way and of course it's confidential -- alot better than making a thread telling people what/what not to do.

    Thanks.

    Post Been Hacked?

    Been hacked?

Unfortunately, many of you who have been hacked have posted threads asking for furni, or just saying it as news.

First of all, it is against forum rules to ask for free furni:

A10. Don't ask for free furni, credits or anything else - This includes asking for free furni for giveaways.

And secondly, any news of this kind belongs in the Anything about Habbo forum, or not at all.

This is flooding our forums with threads that all get the same replies.

Thanks - Habbo UK News and Rumours Forum Moderators.

    Repetitive Threads

Please, when posting News, make sure there is not already a similar / exactly the same thread. 5 Threads on the same thing can be quite annoying, and leave a mess to clear up - Please use the Search button if you're unsure.

Thanks - Habbo UK News and Rumours Moderators.

    Default What can you post?

To save confusion I have made this simple little guide, it show's what you can and can't post.

    What is news?
News, is information that has been announced publicly by Sulake. Therefore, if your friend tells you there is a new rare coming out, however Habbo UK haven't mentioned this new rare - it isn't news! However, if you're on Habbo and an alert pop's up announcing there is a new rare coming out in 15 minutes - this is news!

    What is a rumour?

A rumour is information that hasn't been announced publicly by Sulake. You are allowed to post rumours however they must be backed up with evidence. Any evidence which has been edited i.e a staff's speech bubble, could get you into trouble!

Please do not post a rumour if you have no proof!
