    Default MySQL Password Recovery for IPB 1.3

    I cant remember the password to my MySQL database.

    How can I find this out so I can install mods on my forum

    Ask your host? Thats what I do when I forget they're always helpful (They can reset it).

    Found it in Config_Global.php

    Password was 123456 - something I would remember?!?!?!

    1.3 has quite a few good plug-ins, i found it easier to find the plug-in i wanted than a plug-in for 2.1.6 :S

    Unless its a very crapy mod it wouldnt need the password anyway? the internal structure means everything would load the config info from conf_global anyway and youd be useing the pre defined database handlers to run quirys on it "/
