Some points are sometimes removed by Moderators/Admins if they think they are not 'good' valid reputations. I had some removed off mine saying "REP BACKK!!!!!!!" So thats the only reason I can think of...

I think about 25 of mine went =] I think they flushed out most of the ones from the topic in the staff forums 'How much reputation have you got' cause people pointlessly repped you on that thread.
