    Default eBay Problems

Well, on the 10th of July, I bidded on a DVD for my Dad. Only cost about £7.99. I won the bid and sent off a cheque to the town of where the man lived. (The correct address and everything) Anyway, yesterday I get an alert on eBay stating that the man who I sent the cheque off to hasn't received the envelope with an enclosed cheque in it. He's 95%+ postive, and he seems trustworthy. Should I ring the bank and tell them to see if the cash has been drawn out, or just wait to see if he actually gets it? Thanks in advance.

I would check with the bank, because sometimes they aren't always what they seem to be.

Yes check with your bank see if the moneys bin withdrawn

All matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration. We are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectivly. There is no such thing as death, life is only a dream and we're the imagination of ourselves.

Wayne, ring the bank and tell them to cancel the cheque (so nobody will be able to cash it), then send him another one. Thats what I'd do.

Damn it'd be too late. Check if anybody cashed it, if not, cancel it and then send another.

Tell him to wait a few more days and if it hasn't come, see if the money has been taken out.

Now, at this point, if he has taken the money out and has lied, you will need to send proof of this and that it has been taken out from him.

A tip for future Ebay bidding. ALWAYS, and I mean, ALWAYS, send VIA First Class recorded delievery. That way, you can proove that you've sent it and if it's lost you can back that up with the slip you have.

Cheers guys. I will get paypal which will be more easier. I will wait til maybe tomorrow, and if they don't come tomorrow, I will possibly wait til Saturday. If they don't arrive on saturday, I will ask them to see if the cheques have been withdrawn. Thanks again.
