I made this thread to find out if you all study cookery, food and stuff in school? In my school I take Hospitality which is food, party planning, and some schools just call it home economics, and some call it food studies, do you take any subjects which involve it, and what do you call them there?

Our subject is "Food Technology", where we get taught how to cook as well as diets, what's healthy, what's not etc.

We have food tech 7-10 and hositality 11&12.
I might be doing hospitality next year but I already work in that industry and im trained in most of the food prep already.

We call it Home Economics here.

Next year we're just doing about food, none of that boring stuff that sounds like it has nothing to do with the subject!

I wish I did cooking at school. Now i've left and I can't cook anything apart from beans on toast. :eusa_danc

We have food prep at our school, but it's pretty much a joke class at least in like grade 10, but I've never taken it, I'm not really interested in that stuff.
