To help new / wannabe DJs, I have set up a guide on how to use SAM2 Broadcaster. I don't know if this is in the right place, but it's to do with HabboxLive so I think it's all good....
Click here to see the interface.
Black: The songs in my playlist that I am able to play. Double clicking them will put them into the queue (purple).
Yellow: How long all of my music comes to and how many tracks I have.
Lilac: Voice FX is what you use to talk. Press F11 or 'Lock To Talk' and anything in your mic will be heard by listeners - if you are connected to an encoder.
Blue: This section is the encoder section. An encoder is a little window which you tell it what radio station you are connecting to. You have to put the port, IP/address, password, your DJ name, your bitrate ect.
Orange: Sound FX/Clock are in this window. Clicking one of the numbers in the Sound FX will play it on the air. It is normally things like drumrolls, screams, cheers ect. ect. The clock is basically a clock, so you know what time it is and when to disconnect ect.
Red: The decks. The decks are what song is playing on the air. You can see how much of the song is left, you can pause, stop and eject it from the deck aswell. You can also control the volume the listeners hear the song.
Olive: Your settings. If you click MUTE then you will not hear anything that comes out of SAM, but the listeners will! Great if you want to do something else while playing a song. The Auto DJ means it is doing everything itself. It queues songs, plays them and fades them out when they finish. You can also change the mode to 'Manual' where you have to do everything yourself!
Purple: The queue. If your in Auto DJ, you dont have to worry about this. You place songs into the queue by double clicking on them. When your ready to play them, drag and drop into the deck you want to play it on and click the play button!

Making an Encoder for the first time.
On your encoder pane, click the + and then click OK on the window you see. Now you should see this:

Purple: Your converter options. Often reffered to as 'bitrate your on' or 'kbps (Kilobytes per second). This is fine if your just starting up to be a DJ so leave it be. If you are required to have a specific KBPS, contact me and i'll give you a hand.
Orange: These are general options. Don't worry about them. They are things like auto connect and auto reconnect - which you don't need to worry about!
The things you DO need to worry about is the blue section: 'Server Details'. Lets go see what you will get when you click it...

Navy: Sever Details - THE MOST IMPORTANT THING! These are the details you enter for the server. You will be supplied with these when you are given a DJ Job. For example, if I was going to DJ on HabboForum, I enter the supplied details - which look like above.
Red: Station Details - THE SECOND MOST IMPORTANT THING! These are what show up on the radio stats or SHOUTcast D.N.A.S. Status page (http://habboforum.com:8000/). Under 'Station Name' you put DJ _____. (______ being your DJ Name). You can also put anything you like next to it, e.g. DJ Ollie :: Good Morning!. Genre is pretty obvious, website URL should be site you are DJing on and leave the rest - you don't need to touch it.
And now for a sneaky trick...
Under STATION DETAILS there is a box that says Enable Title Streaming and under it a box that has $combine$ in it. If you put a SPACE before $combine$, then press your left arrow key and type DJ _____ // you will get DJ _____ // before every song:

If you do it right, it will look like this on the radio stats:

How cool? Once you have all the details right, simply click OK. Now its time to learn how to connect....

Click the encoder you wish to connect on, and simply press PLAY. How cool is that?!?! When you want to disconnect, simply hit the stop button and your no longer on the stream.
Common Connecting Errors:
Invalid Server Password - You have the incorrect password!
Error (500) - Another DJ is already on the radio.
Now the final step - talking. First of all you have to have the courage! If your nervous and worried that you might fail, chances are you will! So be strong, and get ready.

This is the voice control panel. See the four sliders? They will all look like the 'music' one at default. What you do is crank the mic one up to the top and leave it there all the time. LEAVE THE OTHERS. To talk on the radio, simply press Lock Talk and your on! You can see how loud you are from the bars at the side. A good volume is around the yellow section. Once your ready to stop talking again, click 'Lock Talk' once more. Remember that SAM automatically turns down the sound of the song if one is on, so you don't need to worry.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Thats it, CONGRATULATIONS!! You've now mastered the basics of learning how to DJ using SAM2 Broadcaster.
Good luck, have fun and enjoy it!
