    Ok, I am 14 in March and I want to lose some weight and do some excercise. I Bought this side stepper machine which makes me side step on it and have a sort of dumbell thing. It says how many calories I lose. How Many calories should I lose a day from my body? Ty,

    P.s: I Dnt expect any radical changes, ill still eat the same food i eat now which is like any normal person, meat and vegetables etc.. So dnt mention food please

    I'm not sure of that but I know the average intake for calories for men is 2000 a day I believe, I might have this wrong though.. either men or women anyway :eusa_wall So yeah... :rolleyes:

    i think women is 2000 and men is 2500 ??

    I knew it was something like that, I wouldn't burn off too many calories though as in the long run thats probably bad for you too. :s

    Well you just need to burn off all the calories you're eating. Some people just cut down their food but if you're doing exersize instead then like figure out an estimate of how many calories you eat a day. Theres 3,500 calories in a pound so to lose a pound a week just reduce your calorie intake by 500 calories or exersize off 500 calories a day, But doing that many (well in one go anyway) will probs be that hard to begin with so why don't you kinda combined dieting and exersize? You could gradually exersize more and more and voila weight loss. And remember you don't have to nessisarially change what you're eating just how much you eat (oviously not starving yourself )

    My brother used to be fat in year 6, now hes in year 11 and is as skinny as a twig. I think its his metabalism. He always eats looool. i am slimmer than in year 6, but hopefully ill be skinny in 11

    Well I belive for women on a diet it should be 1200cal to loose 1/2-1kg a week.

    Just burn off more than you eat. Or eat a normal days worth of food the excersize off the calories of a meal, theres often calorie counters, timers etc on excersize equpiment.
